Lacey's Narrows Marina in Heber Springs so a boat ride
is nothing for these 3 on a daily basis.

This is 2015 in a nutshell.  I'm sorry that I've neglected this blog, but I'm hoping that 2016 will be better. Life goes on..........

At the first of September, our life that we use to know, suddenly changed.  Ashley had decided to move to Greers Ferry and she would be taking Blair with her. WOW......what a blow.  Papa and LiLi's hurt was broken.  We knew there was no changing her mind, so we're making the best of it day by day still.........We get Blair every chance we can and try to talk to her everyday either on the phone or by Face Time on the iPhones.  Thank goodness for these times or I'm afraid we would be moving up next door to them.  Ashley has met a nice guy named Dan and he has (2) boys himself.  They're settling in to a home of their own and seem to be happy.  That's all that Papa and LiLi can hope for and maybe one day.........get them closer !!! But for now......here's some more pics from 2014.....

She loves to go to church.  Whenever we turn the corner at the Church
she'll just squeal in excitement every time we go.

went to Build A Bear.  She loved making her own bear.  This ones name
is Bubblegum and it's head really smells like bubblegum.

A couple of days before Halloween....All the kids were over
to celebrate Blair being here for a few days and we decided
to make and decorate some sugar cookies ! I believe she ate
most of the icing right out of the container......lol

I was able to go on a field trip with my niece Sydney Kate.
She's begged me to go a few times and I've had to cancel so
this is our first together. We had a good day !

Blair was a Bumble Bee for Halloween.  She was
at her daddys house for the holiday so we were
able to get him to send us a picture ! Isn't
she something.....

Got to take these two on the Youth Hunt this year.  They're
such cut ups in the deer stand.  I took Sydney Kate that morning...and Doy
took Delaney to his stand.  Sydney Kate was able to kill her first
deer......

a doe......she was so excited after we found her.  She made
a perfect shot, so she and I were able to track her through
the woods and find her ourselves. 

That afternoon I took both the girls to my stand with me.
Delaney was able to shoot a doe as well.  This wasn't her
first deer, but it was her first one with her Aunt Lisa.
I'm such a cool Auntie.......they think ! ha,ha
SSSShhhhh don't tell them any different !

Youth Hunt day is always fun.  We hunt in the morning, come back to the camp
and roast hot dogs.  Then they give out awards for biggest deer or hog.
Then we all get to go on a mud ride together.  Doy drove and we all had a
blast that afternoon !

Oh My.......Where did I go ??

First of all, let me apologize for abandoning this blog.  So much has gone on throughout the rest of 2014 that I neglected this blog and I'm sorry for that.  Without further ado..........Let's pick up where I left off......

LiLi and Blair goofing off.....she always likes to drive the truck
down the driveway and this particular day it had been raining and
she was hollering at her duck "Martha" in the pond.

so excited...can you tell?

I got to finally catch a nice crappie out of the pond. In just
one afternoon, we caught 18+ keeper crappie off the boat
dock.

She is the happiest and silliest thing.  Here she was playing with
some funny glasses she gave out at her 2nd birthday party.

The Great Smokey Mountains....taken between Ashville, North Carolina
and Pigeon Forge.  The girls took a vacation back in July to see some
family in West Virginia and then we came back through and stayed in
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for a few days.
