Happy Birthday Aunt Rene

These pictures were taken last August at our family reunion.

Aunt Rene would have been 89 years old today. We have so

many special memories of her, that we all hold dear to our

hearts. It is with deep gratitude that I say "Thank You Lord"

for putting such a special Lady in my life and in the lives

of others. One of these days, I'm going to see her

again and "What A Day That Will Be" !!

What's New

This is the back patio getting prepped for concrete if it'll

ever stop raining. We put in our exterior doors his weekend. This is the front door and we absolutely love them. I had to go ahead and stain them before the weather got to them. The wood is an Alder wood w/ all the natural knot holes in them !

Doy's Helper

Doy got a little help yesterday on the dozer

while working on the driveway !! This is "BILLY" our

bird dog. He's a very loving dog....can't you tell !!

Way to Go Sarah Palin !!

For Valentine's Day, I gave DJ tickets to see Sarah

Palin in Little Rock at a Republican Party gathering.

I'm so glad that he let me go with him :-) !! She was

great and I wish that everyone believed in OUR Country

as much as she does !! It was also great that the

State of Arkansas presented her w/ a gift.....

a 44 Magnum !! She was tickled to death !

More House Updates....

As you can tell the log siding is going up on the house.

It looks funny on the corners cause there isn't any, but

keep in mind that the corners are going to be rock. Didn't get

much done this week and last week due to all the rain and

snow, but hopefully we're going to have more SUNNY days
