New Update

Living Room w/ old furniture. I'll take more photos
when the new furniture comes in. Antique Cabinet that Doy had found several years ago, but could never make it work in the old house. So we bought it a year ago and made a place for it in the new house. Looking towards the pantry in the kitchen. Getting a few things hung on the walls. Waiting to get the pantry door painted so you can't see all the food. Tiled backsplash behind the cooktop & griddle.
This is sort of a dry creek bed effect we made
for the run off of water. Getting everything smoothed
up for the sod.
Front of house ready for sod. Loving the BLUE tarp on
the chimney cap. New chimney cap should be ready
in a couple of days.
Sod is down. Only took 11 pallets !! ha,ha
This picture was taken just after we put it down. I'll
take another picture today and you'll be able to tell
how green it is and it already needs cut.
Shady (our stray dog) likes the grass. Our dogs have
only had concrete and rocks to lay on this past year.

How bout' those HOGS !!

Coach Ken Hatfield Frank Broyles Last Friday Night, we all attended the Sheridan Athletic Booster Club "Legends Night". Special guest were some of the former Arkansas Coaches (Coach Ken Hatfield, Coach & Athletic Director Frank Broyles) along w/ several others. Delaney was the only one fortunate enough to have her picture made w/ some of them before they left for the evening. DJ and I won a couple of prints at the banquet and needless to say, they were the first things hung in the new house. We had a great time, and THANKS Mom for the tickets !! Us girls are still die hard Razorback Fans (that was passed on to us by our parents) and we're still die hard Sheridan Yellowjacket fans !! Looking forward to the new season w/ our New Head Football Coach (Louis Campbell) that is a former Razorback player, coach, and has coached at many universities and pro football teams. Hopefully it'll be a great first year for him and the Yellowjackets !

Finishing Up !!

Covered the countertops for the tile guys !! Didn't want
to mess them up. Beginning of the tiled backsplash.
The beautiful Bar ~~I think these turned out the best
in the house !! You'll have to come and see for yourself.
Master Bath Vanities !! We love them !
We are officially moved in !! We slept our first night in the
house, on the 1 year Anniversary of when we poured the
footers on the house. It's really been that long. I finished
emptying the last of the boxes this morning (Wed.) and I'll
try to post some more pictures tomorrow of the house. Doy
is gone today to pick up the river rock for the outside of the
house, so I guess we're going to start the landscaping now. We
have a mud pit outside right now, and it really needs some sod
so we can clean the floors !!
